What Makes These Watermelon Popsicles So Incredible?
- Ingredients. You only need three basic ingredients to make these 3-ingredient Popsicles.
- Simple. Simply add the ingredients, puree, and freeze - that's it!
- Fresh. Use fresh ingredients to cool down and enjoy a delicious summer treat! You can enjoy it as a quick snack or as a light dessert option.
- Variations. Use one of the 5 variations I list below, or make up your own to change up the flavor!
How Do You Make Popsicles using Watermelon?
- Place watermelon, sweetener, and lime or lemon juice into a blender and blend until you have a smooth mixture. Taste and ensure it’s sweet enough.
- Stir in black pepper if needed.
- Pour into popsicle molds and freeze..
How To Eat Them
Freezing watermelon doesn't work well if you plan to just eat it as is. However, freezing watermelon to add to juices or popsicles, like this homemade popsicles recipe, works fine!
Basically as long as you are blending the watermelon before you use it in a recipe, you're all set.
Are Watermelon Pops Keto Friendly?
If you use Truvia instead of sugar, then there are slightly less than 6 net carbs in each one of these healthy popsicles, making them a sweet low carb treat that's completely Keto-friendly.
Popsicles are one of my favorite go-to Keto dessert recipes in the summer! I love my Bulletproof Coffee Pops, and my Cantaloupe Popsicles (or you can see some more on the list below!)
