- A lot of Cajun cuisine is CRAZY easy to make
However, Cajun food also tends to use a lot of rice, pasta and beans, which is a huge no-go for those of use living a low carb lifestyle. The good news is that it tends to be so protein rich that you can just omit the carby ingredients all together and still have a complete and keto friendly meal.

Wow! I just made this recipe and we ate it for dinner. I used andouille sausage, and I served it over cauliflower rice. I’m one of those cooks who believes in cooking once, and eating twice, so I doubled the recipe. The two of us still ate it all!
There are lots of wonderful flavors going on.
Thank you!.
Linda
Once again another recipe that is really quick and easy, but very tasty. I have made it twice and will make it again. I like the idea of adding spinach or asparagus. Thinking of trying it with a stir-fry cabbage or a cabbage fritter. Thanks again for a great recipe.

Big hit with both the hubby and I, will definitely make again. Only thing I did was add a tablespoon of Penzy's freeze dried shallots to the lemon juice (to reconstitute them) and added a half pound of diced fresh asparagus spears along with the shrimp. We ate it all!

Sounds delicious!

It is as delicious as it looks! Perfect spices, I used your Cajun spice recipe, too! I didn’t add additional hot sauce but it was perfect for us. Mahalo!

That looks delicious! I wonder how it would be served on a bed of sauteed spinach or kale? (I would do it over cabbage, but I've been eating a LOT of cabbage lately.)

I think spinach would be fabulous
