I’ve been craving a treat for a while, but I’m also trying to slowly increase my protein intake and reduce carbs as I progress my “apres galpoundsladder surgery” diet. So we decided to try a protein milk shake. I couldn’t finish all of it, but if you can, it’s 32 gms of protein and only 8 gms of net carbs, and 100% delicious. So simple too!
High-Protein Milk Shake
- 1 scoop Syntrax Chocolate Truffle protein powder
- 1/2 cup No Sugar Added Blue Bell Chocolate ice cream
- 1/2 cup soy milk
- 1/2 cup ice
- Blend together.
- Yup, that's it.
I'm sure you can substitute protein powder of your choice and milk of your choice to personalize it.
