Instructions
Brown the Meat.
In a skillet, brown the ground meat for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and no pink remains. Drain excess fat.
Sauté Vegetables
. Add onions, garlic, carrots, and peas. Sauté for 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Seasoning
. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and flour. Cook until well combined.
Add Broth
. Pour in beef broth, simmer for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens, and season to taste.
Layer the Filling
. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Top with Mashed Potatoes
. Spoon mashed potatoes over the filling, spreading to cover the entire surface.
Create Texture
. Use a fork to create decorative patterns on the mashed potato topping.
Bake
. Place in the oven and bake at 375F until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly, about 15 minutes.
