Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper. This helps the cheese release easily and keeps cleanup simple.
Sprinkle the Parmesan and cheddar evenly onto the parchment in a thin layer. This becomes the crispy base for the onion chips.
Arrange the thin onion slices over the cheese layer. Try to keep them in a single layer or close to it so everything bakes evenly.
Sprinkle the onions with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and a small pinch of salt if needed.
