Instructions
Cut the bread into small cubes and let it sit out for a few hours or overnight to dry slightly.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
Add the bread cubes to the mixture and gently stir until fully coated. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb the custard.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners. Evenly distribute the soaked bread mixture into the muffin cups.
Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Drizzle over each muffin.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and set. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Enjoy warm with maple syrup, fresh berries, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
