– Farina, cream of wheat – Sugar – Ground Cardamom – Saffron Strands – Ghee – Water

How To Make Halva

1. Grease a pan. 2. Mix farina, sugar, cardamom, and the saffron-sugar mixture. 3.  Add water and ghee and mix well. 4. Pour the mix into the pan and cover with foil. 5. Pour 1.5 cups of water into the Instant Pot. Place the cover pan on a steamer rack.

How To Make Halva

6. Set the Instant Pot on high for 5 minutes. At the end of the cook time, let the pot sit undisturbed for 5 minutes. 7. Remove the inner pot. Use a fork to fluff up the halva and stir it really well. As you stir, you will see the grains start to separate. 8. Once the halva has been broken up and the spices are mixed in, the halva is ready to serve.
