Instant Pot Chicken Biryani

Ingredients: GHee Cumin Seeds Cinnamon whole cloves black peppercorns cardamom pods onion minced ginger garlic Jalapenos cilantro mint salt chicken thighs basmati rice

Step 1: Warm Ghee and tempering spices  Step 2: cook onions until browned

Step 3: add ginger, garlic, and jalapenos and cook Step 4: Add bite sized chicken pieces

step 5: spread the chicken and veggie mix evenly on the bottom of the pot Step 6: spread the rinsed and drained rice on top

Step 7: Pour the water over the top Step 8: Press the rice down into the pot so it is covered with water

Step 9: Place the lid on your instant pot and cook.  Step 10: release pressure naturally when the cooking time is complete.
