All-Purpose Flour Baking Soda & Baking Powder Ground Cinnamon & Nutmeg Salt Unsalted Butter Granulated Sugar & Brown Sugar Eggs Pumpkin Puree Vanilla Extract Chocolate Chips

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.

Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.

Cream the Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, beat together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.

Combine

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the bread dense. Fold in chocolate chips.

Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top if desired. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
