In a large bowl, combine the vegetable oil, sesame oil, miso, chili-garlic sauce, ginger, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
Add the broccoli and using your hands, toss until all of the broccoli pieces are well-coated.
Arrange the broccoli in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 400°F for 15 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender and the edges are lightly browned, gently tossing halfway through the cooking time.
Transfer broccoli to a serving platter. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and green onions.
Chop the stalks! They are nutritious and delicious!
Broccoli that is cooked under tender crisp should reheat fine.
Toss the broccoli halfway during cooking time.
You can eat the broccoli stems as they are just as nutritious as the florets. I like to shave them or slice them into almost matchsticks and toss right with the florets.
You can use either fresh or frozen for this Sesame Ginger Broccoli recipe. If you use fresh broccoli, add 1/4 cup of water to the bottom of the Air Fryer to make it steam and not burn at the edges. You may have to adjust the cook time as well.
I prefer to use frozen broccoli for this recipe as it's more convenient and isn't as likely to burn since it is being cooked from frozen.
