Prep the Potatoes

Peel and chop 2 lbs of potatoes into roughly equal-sized chunks. Smaller, uniform pieces cook faster and more evenly.

Boil to Perfection

Place the potato chunks in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and bring to a boil. Cook for 15–20 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender.

Drain & Mash
