POT ROAST  RECIPE

Step 1:

Place chunks of beef chuck roast into the Instant Pot.

step 2:

Mix together beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire Sauce, dried Rosemary, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Add onions to the mixture.

Step 3:

Pour sauce on the chuck roast. Close the lid and pressure cook on HIGH pressure for 15 minutes. Immediately release all pressure.

Step 4:

Add potatoes, chopped carrots or baby carrots, onions, celery, and mushrooms.

Step 5:

Cook on high pressure 4 minutes with a 10 minute natural release. Release all remaining pressure. Remove beef chuck and shred.

Step 6:

Arrange all of the vegetables around the meat. Serve the pot liquid as a sauce or au jus gravy on the side.
