Prepare the Fish

Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels to help the coating stick better.

Set Up Breading Station

In one shallow bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Bread the Fish Nuggets

Dip each piece of fish first in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat thoroughly in the panko breadcrumb mixture.

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the breaded fish nuggets in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they don’t touch. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the nuggets are golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature should reach 145°F.
