Burrata cheese- 1 large ball or 2 small ones. Fresh greens- Choose a mix of arugula, spinach, or any leafy greens of your preference. Tomatoes- 2-3 ripe and juicy tomatoes, preferably heirloom or several cherry tomatoes. Red Onion- Gives a strong earthy bite and added texture. Fresh basil leaves- A handful of aromatic basil leaves. Extra virgin olive oil Balsamic vinegar Salt and black pepper- Freshly ground black pepper really brings out the flavor of the tomatoes in this salad.

Prepare the vegetables. Wash the fresh greens and basil leaves thoroughly, then dry them gently using a clean kitchen towel. Slice the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces. If using additional ingredients like olives or roasted bell peppers, prepare them as well.
