Whole Black Peppercorns  Black Mustard Seeds Cumin Seeds Coriander Seeds Dried Garlic Dried Red Pepper Flakes Salt Lean Ground Beef Worcestershire Sauce Hamburger Buns or Large Lettuce Leaves

STEP 1

In a mortar and pestle, crush together the peppercorns cumin, coriander, garlic, pepper, and salt until you have roughly crushed the seeds. Do not make a fine powder out of these.

STEP 2

In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, spice mix, and Worcestershire sauce.

STEP 3

Divide meat into four portions. Form round patties with a slight depression in the middle to prevent them from puffing out into a dome-shape while cooking.

STEP 4

Place patties in single layer in air fryer basket. Set fryer to 350°F for 10 minutes.

At the end of cook time, use a meat thermometer to ensure burgers have reached an internal temperature of 160°F (medium).
