STEP 1

In a mortar and pestle, crush together the peppercorns cumin, coriander, garlic, pepper, and salt until you have roughly crushed the seeds.

In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, spice mix, and Worcestershire sauce.

STEP 3

Divide meat into four portions. Form round patties with a slight depression in the middle to prevent them from puffing out into a dome-shape while cooking.
