Preheat oven to 350 F.
Sprinkle salt, pepper and other seasonings of choice on each filet evenly.
Spread the mayonnaise on each filet on top of the seasonings.
- Spread the shredded cheese on a paper and dip each filet, mayonnaise side down into the cheese and press firmly until coated.
Line a baking sheet with foil, spray the sheet and place filets evenly.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the fish flakes evenly.
If you want a browner crust, place under a broiler for a few minutes.
