I never leave recipe reviews but these are AMAZING!!! My husband is a T1 diabetic and I'm insulin resistant so we've been trying to look after our health by eating low carb. I was craving chicken tenders so badly but didn't want to break the diet. These were phenomenal and I'll be making them regularly!!!!!

The point about vegetable oils and inflammation really landed for me — too many "healthified" recipes swap out one problem for another without thinking about the cooking fat at all, so it's refreshing to see that addressed head-on here. I've been making almond flour-based crusts for a while and honestly the nuttiness you mention is a feature, not a bug — my kids couldn't identify it in a blind taste test and they're brutally honest food critics. One thing worth knowing for anyone reading: according to research published in *Circulation*, replacing even a small percentage of calories from refined carbs with whole-food fats is associated with measurably better cardiovascular markers, which is part of why the breading swap here matters beyond just carb counts. The air fryer has genuinely changed how I think about texture in low-carb cooking — that crunch felt like something I'd just have to mourn forever, and then suddenly it wasn't. I'm curious whether you've experimented with adding any spices directly into the almond flour — things like smoked paprika or nutritional yeast — and whether that changes the crust texture at all?

Great recipe, I added it to my paprika 3 app. They didn’t look as pretty as yours did, but this will be a go to recipe for sure! Thanks

Simply delicious. Kids love it and everyone who's tried these couldn't tell they were Keto/low carb. Only change to the recipe I made besides doubling it all to make more I use all the seasonings listed and some Tony Chachere's Original creole seasoning. Give it a nice lil kick.

So, I tried the recipe and it didn’t quite turn out the same as yours, “image” wise. They still smell great and my mom says they taste great too (haven’t had a chance to try them myself)! But I still wanted to ask some questions just to verify that I haven’t done something wrong…

1.) What kind of oil are you using when you spray the basket and tenders?
2.) What brand are you using for the chicken tenderloins? Also, are you removing the tendons from the chicken tenderloin cuts?

This is the first time I’ve ever tried actually cooking a proper meal from scratch; I mostly cook baked goods like cupcakes, muffins, cookies, etc. So, I just wanna be sure I’m doing this right.

My tenders turned out a rather dark brown and almost burnt-looking even though I followed your instructions to the letter and didn’t use any substitute ingredients. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

Very good, delicious. and best of all super easy. I dont use the green can parmesan but I had grated parmesan on hand and it worked out fine. This will replace my other recipe as this one is much easier.
